Recipe Collection: Smooth Peanut Butter Dip

By Rustina, Contributing Writer

One of my favorite “snacks” is chips and dip, but I try to limit that. To distract myself with something else crunchy and dippy, I use celery, carrots, or apples in a nut butter and cream dip.

It is also a great way to get kids more interested in celery and carrots (if they aren’t already).

I’ll share the basic recipe and some options for the dipping sauce that I really like.

Smooth Peanut Butter Dip (for fruits and veggies)

Ingredients:

  • Sliced carrots, celery, apples, mangoes, papaya, or any other fruit/veggie that you can cut to dip!
  • ½ cup of powdered roasted peanuts (or PB Fit Peanut Butter Powder)
  • ¼ cup of maple syrup or honey
  • ¼ tsp of sea salt
  • Optional
    • ¼ cup of yogurt or cream cheese (softened)
    • 2 tbsp of collagen powder
    • 1 tbsp of Electrolyte powder

Directions

Step 1: Mix the peanut powder and the honey or maple syrup together.

Step 2: If adding the collagen powder, do so now.

Step 3: Whip the yogurt or cream cheese into the peanut mixture.

Step 4: Serve or refrigerate 🙂

In the case of a peanut or dairy allergy, coconut cream and roasted pumpkin would be yummy too, I bet!

This works great for parties or whip it into jelly jars and stick the carrots right into it for an “on the go” snack!

Do you like to dip? What’s your stance on double dipping?
