Recipe Collection: White Pizza

You will first need to get the soaked pizza dough recipe that I posted last week and prepare that.  It takes 12 – 18 hours before it’s ready (most of which is ‘wait’ time, not active).

Once you have your pizza dough prepared and pre-baked for five minutes, it’s time to make some white pizza!

Recipe Collection: White Pizza

Ingredients:

  • One recipe pizza dough (will make 2 pizzas)
  • 4 – 6 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder (or 2 – 3 cloves fresh crushed garlic)
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 c. mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Step 1: After pre-baking your crust per the pizza dough recipe, put 2 – 3 tbsp butter on the pizza.  Sprinkle with garlic powder, basil, and sea salt.  (Or spread the crushed garlic.)

Step 2: Sprinkle the cheese over the top.

Step 3: Bake at 425 for about 10 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.

Serve immediately.  You can do this as-is, or add marinara sauce for dipping, if you’re so inclined.

What do you like on your pizza?
