In honor of fall — which is at its prime right now — I’ve created a fall herbal tea blend that is super delicious and just perfect for those cool mornings…or nights…or really anytime! I just love this and the kids do too. It’s naturally caffeine-free so it’s safe for just about anyone, and it even contains some rooibos tea, which is possibly beneficial for allergies and digestion, among other things. Can we say awesome?
It only takes a few minutes to mix up, stores for at least several weeks, and is all around great. It would even make a nice gift, if you have someone in your life who loves gourmet tea, but not the prices at which they come. Or maybe just as a gift to yourself…. 🙂
Fall Herbal Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 c. red rooibos tea
- 1/2 c. dried apple chunks
- 2 cinnamon sticks, cut into small chunks
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 vanilla bean
Directions:
Step 1: Dump everything a bowl. Mix briefly to combine. Store in an air-tight container (I use a glass bowl).
What do you do with the vanilla bean? Cut it into pieces? Leave whole? I want to make this!
How much do you use of the mixture to make a cup of tea?
1 – 2 tsp. depending on how strong you want it.
